REGISTRATION

Who May Participate:
The U.S. 10K Classic is open to all runners, walkers, inline skaters and qualified wheelchair athletes. Participants must be 12 years of age or older. The 100Kcycling division is open to professional and top-ranked amateur cyclists only. Competitors in the women's 10K sprint must be USCF licensed. Click here for additional cycling information. To ensure the safety of all participants, the course is restricted to registered runners, walkers, wheelchair, inline skating, pro cycling competitors and official personnel. No animals or bicycles (other than racing cyclists) are allowed on the course.

How to Register:
Race applications are available at all metro Atlanta Publix Super Markets beginning July 2008.

Are you up for the challenge? Businesses, schools, civic organizations, friends, families and groups of 10 or more are eligible to compete in The U.S. 10K Classic Team Challenge. Team members can be friends, families, associates or anyone recruited to form a team. Teams will receive a $2 discount off of applicable race entry fees. An official team entry form must be submitted in addition to individual race applications by each participant. Awards will be presented to the top three teams in the following divisions:

Corporate Team Challenge Division I: Companies with 300+ employees
Corporate Team Challenge Division II: Companies with less than 300 employees
Community Team Challenge: Civic organizations, schools, religious organizations, social groups, friends, families, etc.

Entry Information:
  • THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!
  • Entry fees are non-refundable and must be postmarked by August 15th, 2008 to receive early registration discount.
  • Participants unable to attend the Family Festival can have their packet mailed for an additional $4 mailing fee. Entry forms must be postmarked by August 11, 2008 to receive via mail. Address must be complete.
  • THERE IS NO RACE DAY PACKET PICK-UP.
  • Early registration deadline is August 11, 2008. All entries received after this date add $7 late entry fee to respective fees.
  • Late registration must be in person at the Family Festival, August 30-31, 2008 at the Galleria Gardens.
  • Checks or money orders should be made payable to The U.S. 10K Classic.
  • Completed entry forms and payment should be mailed to:

  • Entry confirmations will not be mailed. Your canceled check or money order is your proof of entry.
  • The U.S. 10K Classic reserves the right to reject or withdraw any entry or to issue special invitations.
  • Online registration available at active.com , deadline for registering online is August 24, 2008. Please bring your e-mail confirmation to packet pick-up.
