Race Day
Course Fluids
Volunteers needed to assist with set-up, water distribution and clean-up. Approximately 15+ volunteers are needed at each of the five water stations for a maximum of 5 hours.
Check-in time: 5:30 a.m.

Chip Collection
Ten people are needed at the Finish Line to collect ChampionChip timing chips from timed finishers. All timed finishers must turn in their timing chip BEFORE receiving their T-shirt and hat. (Minimum Age: 16)
Check-in time: 5:45 a.m.

Finish Line Medals
Ten aggressive, organized individuals needed to distribute medals to the first 1000 finishers to cross the line. Persons must be able to work quickly and have basic understanding of road race finish lines to keep the finishers moving through the chute. (Minimum Age: 16)
Check-in time: 5:45 a.m.

Course Marshals
Make way for the racers while cheering them on! Seventy-five course marshals are needed to keep the course clear and safe for participants, ensuring that unauthorized vehicles, spectators and pedestrians stay off the course, contacting the course security chief in case of emergency. (Minimum Age: 14)

T-Shirt Tents
AFTER finishers turn in their timing chips they head to the tents to pick up their T-shirt and hat. Volunteers are needed to distribute these items, mark individual race numbers and encourage finishers to enjoy the Finish Line Extravaganza! (Minimum Age: 16)
Check-in time: 5:45 a.m.

Security
This is one of the most important positions at the finish line. Fifteen individuals over the age of 16 are needed in the Finish line area. Must have previously worked security.(Minimum Age: 16)

Finish Line Set-Up
Help unload trucks, set-up tents and staging areas, hang signs and assist the Finish Line Director with creating Atlanta's biggest finish line party! There is plenty of work to be done, so plan on getting an early start. (Minimum Age: 14)
Check-in time: 5:00 a.m.

Finish Line Breakdown
Once the party is over, we need help packing up, loading trucks and cleaning the grounds. Hard work but well worth a rewarding afternoon at the water park. (Minimum Age: 14)
Check-in time: 9:00 a.m.

Start Line
Ten people are needed at the start line to man the water station and assist the course director. Volunteers in this area will then transition to a course marshal or working in the finish area. (Minimum Age: 14)
